When I was studying journalism, a fellow student and I wrote for the university paper, a sort of he said/she said thing. It was tons of fun, and often we would take opposing sides to an issue just for the hell of it. I once wrote about how despite there being 25 million large concrete ashtrays on campus, I still watched people flick their butts on the ground, often right beside the ashtrays. As a smoker who always tried to put my butts in ashtrays, it quite irritated me. So I wrote about it. Of course, my buddy responded on the opposing side. I loved this particular quote from that column:
"I drag slow, crack grin and flick hence to all ye upholders of our common morality."
Cracks me up every time I think of it.

Oh thank you so much for posting this Gypsy - what a great edit. Ab Fab is a legend in this house. Utterly brilliant. It can be a bit unsetling to the uninitiated though when my oldest dahling mutters "bitch troll" to one of her sisters for some real or imagined misdemenour and gets a laugh in return.
So many great lines .. remember the one where Eddie told someone Pats used to go out with Keith Moon? "Well", clarifies Patsy, "I woke up underneath him once". Then there was the one that followed that brilliant exchange in the clip between Saffy and Eddie - "It's called colonic irrigation - it's not to be sniffed at."

i said..."dahling you are the slot machine"..everyone just creased with laughter...she scowled at me..heh!..she was forever putting me down for being small..and spiked my drink with sleeping pills on my 40th birthday!!..she could have killed me!..
