Acoustic guitar!

So very well-played. I don't know of Bert Jansch, but I do know Al Stewart.

The artwork on A's is fabulous.
From and artistic point of view, women are so beautiful...

Ouch indeed.

Bert Jansch was named over and over again as a musical influence by all sorts of musicians (including the Beatles and Dylan, REM) at the exhibits at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. That was the first time I really saw his name and listened to some of his music there.

Beautiful selections, Gypsy. It makes me want to have a smoke. ;)

Yay Gypsy, I saw that movie!! It was brilliant. Richard E Grant and his alternative ego - the boil on his shoulder. It was very bitingly funny if I remember rightly. I like REG even more because he is originally South African - silly I know but true.

Anne Marie, Bert Jansch was a member of the great folk group Pentangle as well with John Renbourn and Jacqui McShee. John Renbourn is another of my great guitar heroes. They were and are still awesome. As for Al Stewart, I've loved his music ever since I was about sixteen when I was introduced to it by a boyfriend in Bournemouth. Apparently Al also comes from Bournemouth, but I'll google that just to see.

Sindy and val..yes old bert has influenced a lot musicians even the Smiths!..and yes Al is scottish with a name like stewart! ..yes!!!..

re- The battle of the boil..
At around 10.30pm I launched a full scale attack on lance
(the boil) armed only with a strategically place mirror, a Russin Gymnast i am not!,
I accepted defeat due to nearlly breaking my neck falling over..
But upon waking this morn it seems lance has retreated somewhat and i'm abl to sit comfy again..TFFT!..
Oh, and i do talk out my own arse sometime..just to give my mouth a rest you understand..

Sorry about Lance... hope he has retreated for good! And loved the movie with rick e grant.
