RE-STEVIES TAG ..FANTASY DAY..

THIS WOULD BE THE VIEW...

I'D WAKE UP NICE AND EARLY, ABOUT 11.30.AM, NEXT TO YOU KNOW WHO....
IN A FOUR POSTER BED SITUATED IN A BIG OLD MANSION IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LAKE DISTRICT.
BREAKFAST IN BED..STRAWBERRYS AND GRAPES DIPPED IN SUGAR WITH CHAMPAGNE..

DRESSED IN VICTORIAN CLOBBER, AND CHAUFFEUR DRIVEN, I'D GO TO AN OLD THEATRE AND SIT IN A PRIVATE BOX WATCHING EDITH PIAF..SHE WOULD SING ME TO TEARS..

THEN!..GO TO A POSH TEA ROOM AND DEMAND WINE AND CAKE WITH 'WITHNAIL' AND HIS MATE 'I'..WE WOULD GET SLUNG OUT FOR BEING DRUNKEN BUMS..(like in the film)..

THEN!..BACK TO THE MANSION FOR THE BIGGEST PARTY WITH ALL OUR BLOGGER FRIENDS THERE ASWELL..COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF BOOZE, ASHTRAYS, FOOD AND MUSIC....

THEN!..IN THE WEE SMALL HOURS I'D HOLD A SEANCÉ WITH THE LATE DORIS STOKES AND THE NOT SO LATE SHIRLEY GHOSTMAN AS THE SPIRITUAL ENFORCERS..WE'D ALL BE ABLE TO RAISE FROM THE DEAD JUST ONE FAMOUS PERSON AND ASK THEM A QUESTION..

MINE WOULD BE ADOLF HITLER AND I'D ASK "WHY THE MOUSTACHE"?...

WHO WOULD YOURS BE AND WHAT WOULD YOU ASK?..

ANYWAY THATS IT FOR ONE DAY...NEXT DAY'S EVEN MORE INTERESTING...

Ohhhh party at the Big House me too me too please please I will have to wear slinky black though. Think Morticia. Love the look.

Speaking of slinky and underneath nakedness (you AGAIN, Dale?!), I went with Mads yesterday to look at formal / recital dresses. She tried on one that was full-length in black satin, very negligee-like, bias-cut, draped, but slinky and strapless - gorgeous. "Of course", I said "you wouldn't wear knickers under it - you need the line to be totally smooth". "Oooh - I couldn't do that!" cried she with prudish horror. Honestly, I blame the parents.

As for my seance victim, hmmm. Can I share yours and ask what the gypsies ever did to him?

A M, MMMM indeed..

Stevie!, how many glasses of wine did you have?..you forgot to come back and say..

Margie, Morticia dress sounds devine..and Mads dress sounds devine too..you can get knickers with IPL..
Maybe the gypsys sold Hitler some dodgy pegs!..
that last comment was tactless...sorry..

Well Koos, seeing as your knowledge of twin sets is so spot on i think you can sit with us girls..
and how then hell did you manage the magic hat!?..

Gypsy, after trying many different sorts, I am convinced that the only way to get a truly IPL under some things is to wear NP. If you've found some that really do the job though, give me full details and I'll stock up when I'm in London briefly (oh hahahaha geddit haha sorry won't happen again) in January.

Ooooh I love Victorian... Corsets and ruffles and beautiful hats... although I'd probably try to at least make some attempt at keeping up appearances and just lace my tea with whiskey... a good 16 yr old single malt ought to do it.

Anyway, thansk for the wonderful wedding wishes and I shall do my best to get mum on film doing the tango to Black :)

Koos should come wearing liederhosen (sp??). I want to come too and so I'd probably wear exactly what I wore to Anne Marie's party. Oh, and AM, there is a group called the Strawbs - and they're English!!

Not to brag or anything, but I just spent the evening with a recording engineer who has actually recorded the Who!! I nearly fell off my chair when he told me that! It was way back in the day when they did Substitute. He should come to the party too.
