Round, like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel.
Never ending or beginning,
On an ever spinning wheel
Like a snowball down a mountain
Or a carnaval balloon
Like a carousell that's turning
Running rings around the moon

Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes on it's face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

Like a tunnel that you follow
To a tunnel of it's own
Down a hollow to a cavern
Where the sun has never shone
Like a door that keeps revolving
In a half forgotten dream
Or the ripples from a pebble
Someone tosses in a stream.

Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes on it's face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

Keys that jingle in your pocket
Words that jangle your head
Why did summer go so quickly
Was it something that I said
Lovers walking allong the shore,
Leave their footprints in the sand
Was the sound of distant drumming
Just the fingers of your hand

Pictures hanging in a hallway
And a fragment of this song
Half remembered names and faces
But to whom do they belong
When you knew that it was over
Were you suddenly aware
That the autumn leaves were turning
To the color of her hair

Like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning,
On an ever spinning wheel
As the images unwind
Like the circle that you find
In the windmills of your mind

I also hope you wake up to a lovely morning, feeling better with no thoughts of ebola, legionnaire's disease or anything horrible like that!

Have a lovely day

Let's get things nice and sparkling clear. This sarcasm, if I may call it such, does not become you, O my little brothers. As I am your droog and leader, I am entitled to know what goes on, eh? Now then, Dale, what does that great big horsy gape of a grin portend?

Gypsy. I tried strapping toast to my cat and threw her out of the bedroom window to see what would actually happen. i picked the wrong window. i forgot there was a conservatory under that winow so the cat only fell about 2 feet. As soon as she comes back, i will try it again. Will have to cook some more toast though.

Oh and Koos is going to do a post about our day out, cos he took some beautiful photos..as is his way.

But, we drove about 30 kms south of Rotterdam and explored some of the little villages in the area, and they are breathtaking...even on an overcast day! I have never seen such pretty places here in Holland, and I have seen some lovely ones before too, so these took some beating. It was such fun. It felt as if we were on holiday, and we also went for a nice walk along the dyke by the wide stretch of water we call the Hollandsche Diep.

I hope tonight finds you in a more restful state. I also hope Alfie cleaned up after himself when he was over seeing his little creemsicle. I don't mind the trysts, I'm just not much of a hausfrau.

Cheers,
