WHY?
why is life so scary..why is it always complicated..why is it that i'm frozen in the silence of past hurt..fear always breathing down my neck..stolen happiness for a brief moment..but for ever haunted by the silent hurt..i can still see and hear that wild hour..this life only brings happiness to some..for others its always on loan..never truley yours..happiness is with-in..but the cruel twist of reality always present to remind you that its just there....with-in...never with...solitude my only friend..safe in solitude..gypsy...

Happiness is on loan for most.
Life is fragile.
When we find that fleeting moment of happiness, we have to revel in that happiness...
That moment is only relative to all the other fleeting moments that make up our life.
Without the yin there is no yang.

Hi Gypsy,
I think happiness is always on loan, and that this very truth is what makes it so precious.
Luckily, we can say the same about unhappiness. This too shall pass.
I hope whatever unhappy thoughts have overtaken you in the moment will pass you by quickly.
I am often reminded of the following quote when I feel like you felt upon posting to your blog today:

I don't know about on loan, but happiness is like butterflies, beautiful but touching you only now and then.
Fear is always there though, ready and lurking to creep up on you, but it's also your safety valve, and in that way can be positive....don't let it take over, dearest Gypsy..let the fear become excitement at the challenge of the unknown.
Contentment is peace...peace with yourself..there's your with and within. Find your contentment and the solitude will fade away...and maybe bring another with...it.

wow - just coming into this now... your writing is beautiful. When I get down and dirty into it - writing always helps me. I'll try to get caught up a bit here.
