CUE SAD MUSIC...TO ENVOKE FEELINGS OF SYMPATHY..GUILT...A BEGRUDGED DESIRE TO DONATE MONEY TO THIS CAUSE...YES FOR 2 QUID A MONTH YOU CAN MAKE AN AGEING FLOOZY HAPPY...2 QUID A MONTH THATS ALL IT TAKES TO EASE THE SUFFERING OF SAID FLOOZY...WHO WOKE UP ONE AFTERNOON TO FIND HER MAKE-UP BAG DERELICTÉ...THE OLD EYE LINER BOTTLE DRIED UP...THE KOHL EYE LINER PENCIL DOWN TO THE VERY LAST STUMP...THE LIPSTICK WAS SO BEATEN AND WORN DOWN THERE WAS NO HOPE...( sniff)...THE BLUSHER HAD LONG SPILLED ITS GUTS OVER THE BATHROOM SINK IN A DRUNKEN ACCIDENT MANY YEARS AGO...IT NEVER RECOVERED...( tears whelling up yet?)...THE EXQUISITE FOUNDATION NOT FOUND... THE POOR MASCARA WHICH LAY ABANDONED... SO ABUSED BY OVER USE IT WAS TWISTED AND MANGLED UNRECOGNIZABLE...THE MAKE-UP BAG RESEMBLES A BARREN WASTELAND OF MISERY...THE COLOUR LONG GONE...(ok get a hanky ffs!)...SO AS YOU DONATE YOUR 2 QUID A MONTH (YES THATS ALL!)..2 QUID ..YOU CAN EASE YOUR BY NOW TORTURED CONSCIENCE AND FEEL THE TOTAL EMOTIONAL BLACKMAIL THESE AND APPEALS LIKE THEM GIVE YOU...OF COURSE ALL THE MONEY DONATED WILL GO TO *THE CHANEL 2006 CHIC RANGE*...OH HANG ON! ..THERES ABOUT 70% OF THE DONATION WILL GO TO THE MAKERS OF THIS ADVERT *SAATCHI & SAATCHI....20% TO ADMIN YOU KNOW NICE OFFICE CAR ETC...AND IF YOUR LUCKY 10% TO THE CAUSE...BUT YOU NEVER REALLY FIND OUT!...I THINK I'LL SET UP A NEW CHARITY...TO STOP ALL THESE GLOBAL GUILT APPEAL CHARITYS ...ER..CHARITY....SO!! FOR JUST 2QUID .............AND SO ....AND SO ....

You're right! Cruella is looking a bit pale...I have lots of experience in setting up charities, in fact I can give you a few pointers...for er - let's say 50 an hour? I have some old CC in my drawers...I don't mind loaning it...that is if you decide you need my help.

Gypsy, If ever there were a more deserving cause, I've yet to hear of it. This is just so tragic. To think that good money is being siphoned off to third-world countries to be frittered on mere food and education programs while this home-grown suffering is allowed to continue unchecked. What do you pay your taxes for?
Make poverty history? I don't think so. As long as you have to keep watering down the last of your dried eyeliner, use beetroot juice for blush, poke into the far corners of your foundation bottle with a cotton bud and pinch the crayons in the kids' corner of the doctor's waiting room to do your eyes, there are bigger challenges out there.
