I should never leave off this machine for a couple of days - it seems I have been missing a metamorphosis-in-progress.

Brave you! (The whole process of reinvention and change I mean, not just the hairy). Hope everything works out beautifully and the journey's an exciting one.

And yes, pics please, even if you end up looking like a gelled dishmop. You won't, though.

You look great! ... very spunky just as I would expect from the exuberant gypsy! Very cool. lol.. I am the same way about the hairdresser I figure I can butcher it for free so why not? Been doing it for the last 6 years. Now that I have my son I'm getting pretty good! lol Poor kid lol... The first time I cut my hair I was about 5 and I used my plastic nurse scissors. My dad was so proud of the perfect paige boy style which he cut until about this time. I cut my bangs clear to my scalp cause I wanted to look glamorous like my aunt Lucy who wore her hair pulled back with a band. Only problem was I didn't know that it was the band that made her hair stay back and look so smooth! lmao!...

Second time I cut my hair I was living on my own, barely able to afford rice, bread and milk. I was tired of my one length hair so I whittled away at it thinking I would be layering my hair and I ended up with three distinct levels like I had put two different sized bowls on my head! lol - That was attractive, somehow I made it through the phase by tricking it out with wash in colors and adding a few braids. It was like Lena Lovich meets David Bowie! Which was pretty cool at the time so all was well.

Thanks so much for your sweet words on my poetry blog. I never think, ok I'm going to write some poetry now... It just comes out when its good and ready, but boy when it does I better get a pen or keyboard in hand cause thar she blows! At least that when I feel the poetry comes out the best. The little diddy on my main blog was a quick one but I really enjoy the ones I've posted on my amygdala... I'm glad you have also enjoyed them.

thankyou anne marie..alicia that made me laugh you never know the 3 step basin cut might become chic..it reminded me of when i was about 3 or somit...my twin bro and i were just about to go to a wedding i was the bridesmaid he the paige boy..we were sitting under the kitchen table and i cut his fringe off..of course my mam had a fit..and i went to the wedding realing in the heat of my smacked bottom..lol...then later on chantal repeated history as about 2 days before she was due to be a bridesmaid she cut off her fringe!!..must be in the genes..lace never trust politicians and hairdressers..string i,ll call myself *abbatour haircutting*..get your hair slaughtered here!..i would recommend everyone whizz over to alecias poetry blog...she does have a gift..
