BOOTS TURKEY IN TO OVEN FOR 5 HOURS THINKING AS I DO EVERY YEAR THAT IVE WON THE PRIZE TURKEY MEANT FOR THE CRATCHETS...WHEN REALLY ITS AN ANOREXIC OLD BIRD FRESH OUT OF REHAB!...2 HOURS LATER THE DAMN THINGS WELL COOKED..HMMM STARES AT TURKEY WITH INTENT FOR 2 HOURS TILL ITS TIME TO SWITCH VEG ON..BOIL SPROUTS FOR 3 HOURS MAKE SURE THEY ARE REDUCED TO MUSH....HMM PRESENTS..WONDER WHAT THIS IS (she says picking up dvd shaped gift)..OOOH LOOK ITS THE MIGHTY BOOSH LIVE ON TOUR!
(acting pretend surprized even though no ones there)..I BOUGHT IT MYSELF..WRAPPED IT, PUT A TAG ON IT , GAVE IT TO CHANTELLE..SHE WROTE OUT THE TAG ..FROM HER AND DARREN..AND GAVE IT BACK TO ME CHRISTMAS EVE...SO I GET EXCITED ..YAY!..CHANTS AND DARREN COME FOR LUNCH..FORCE FEED THEM TURKEY OF WHICH I HAD A MORSEL OF..INFACT I HAD CRANBERRY SAUCE WITH A BIT OF TURKISH ON THE SIDE..LOL...BLAND STUFF IT IS..GOOD JOB ITS ONLY ONCE A YEAR..WHY DO WE DO IT??...ANYHOW NICE TIME WITH CHANTS AND DARREN..THEY LEAVE BEFORE DARKNESS FALLS..I WATCH MONSTER INC ON THE BOX..THEN I GET READY FOR MY SPECIAL VISITOR...WE HAD A LOVELY CHRISTMAS NIGHT AND BOXING DAY TOGETHER...NUFF SAID...
BTW THE LEFT OVER TURKEY IS NOW FOR SALE ON E-BAY..GOING CHEAP..NO! HANG ON THATS WHAT BABY CHICKS DO..AHA!..

I am well over turkey. Huge, tasteless and with a carcass that just doesn't stop bearing leftovers, and unlike your aristocratic Alfie, my mog Sadie won't touch the stuff. Thank goodness for cold Christmas pud sliced thinly and slathered with a thick layer of brandy butter. Mmmmm ..mmm.
