I just put some lights round Argie Bargie's mast. Looks really pretty. Put lights on Koos's bootje too. Nothing else Christmassy yet but still a week to go...phew! Haven't even sent any cards yet...gulp! Most of mine have to go overseas too...double gulp!

15 December, 2006 16:38
Blogger gypsy noir said...

oh val i bet your barges look beautiful at night when the lights twinkle on the water..
well ive written both my cards out..lol..

15 December, 2006 20:44
Blogger Dale said...

Ha! I don't even know what a doornail is... a spike that nails the door shut?

As far as cards go, I don't send them, as they are far too expensive and, not to mention, time consuming... what with all the time I have to spare...

15 December, 2006 22:55
Blogger Dale said...

Ooooh Val, take a photo of your barges all lit up!

15 December, 2006 22:56
Blogger Vallypee said...

I'll ask Koos to do it with his camera, Dale. It's better at night shots than mine...

...and...ahem...I've finally managed to squeeze in a final chapter of African Ways. Yep, Gypsy, it's finished!!!!!

Now, I'll be good and do a few cards and prezzies tomorrow....then beack to work...

15 December, 2006 23:09

I don't do cards either. I'm with Dale - they're too expensive. I've been known to write a holiday letter but not every year and I ususally do it after the holidays.

Val - Congrats on finishing your book! I'm officially unemployed as of today and all my prezzies except two are wrapped so I plan to read it next week - looking forward to it very much! Still working on the never never list, too. So is Pretty Kitty...

Gypsy - Love the tree! Very chic and minimalistic....I'm sure I've seen it in the abbatoir, tho......and hasn't that bird been dead back there for months?

Oh, BTW - Finally there's something fun on my blog!
