pmsl!

Alfie is the funniest looking cat I've ever seen!
Haughtiness, indignance, and self-importance all rolled into one - behind that flat furry face of his.

Love the shot with the leg in the air...

I'll bet he's soft, though.

I really love your movie, Gypsy. Makes me smile. Alfie is adorable.! The song choice is great too. Just the right words with the right images. for example, when Alfie has his leg in the air and the song talks about love and the look on Alfies face - priceless. I've watched a few times now (as i've needed the smiles) and i'm singing the song hours later! could you tell a little more about the song? like who sings it and when it was made?
Anywho - brilliant job on your first movie and i look forward to many more!
Hugs,
cherylann

Marvellows Gypsy (I saw the typo and left it there..hehe). Alf the magnificat! He certainly poses well for the camera, I'll say that. Love the shot of him playing the cello with his back leg ;-)

It's Cilla Black isn't it? I always loved that song, and she was great too, or maybe still is?

Well done you! xxxx

IT is a sultry night at the Oscars, and B-list star after B-list star, finally allowed in after the A-listers made it through file down the red carpet.
Inside, the crowd hushes as Goerge Clooney and Jessica Simpson advance to the podium.
"Tonight we honour one of three brilliant director/producers for the cinematic brilliance."
Jessica Simpson flashes her ultrasbright $45,000 lumineer smile at the freakishly tanned man next to her. He winces at the sight of her permanantly surprised Botox eyebrows and faces the teleprompter.
"Our first nominee is Quentin Tarintino for yet another over the top violent story about a young girls desperate attempt to find her real hairdresser after they are seperated in a tragic flash flood in Manhattan. Starring Winona Ryder and Winona Judd."
Jessica Simpson adjusts her left boob, taped to her sequined gown of red marabou, then turns her vacant stare into the camera.
"Our second nominee is Clint Eastwood for his biopsy... oops, I mean biopic, of The Friendly Giant: the man behind the tights, starring Gary Sinese and Gary Busey. Co-starring Lauren Hutton, Lauren Bacall and Ralph Lauren."
"And our third and final nominee is C.M. Gypsy Glenton, a newcomer to the Acadamy, with her heartwrenching story about Alfie, a cat and his personal triumph over drug and sex addiction, told through the eyes of the woman who helped him find the true path to feline S&M enlightenment."
There is thunderous applause as the clip from the breakout blockbuster Alfie glares across the screen.
Two of the directors sit tense in their plush seats, while the third sits relaxed and grinning, her black leather twinset and leather pants glistening in the light. The mysteriously handsome man beside her making the twosome so devastating gorgeous that everyone who looks their way breaks instantly into tears of joy.
"And the Oscar goes to.... C.M. Gypsy Glenton for Alfie!"
The audience shrieks with frenzied joy and Gypsy and her paramour Neilbymouth, who had just picked up a Grammy for his release, "Back to Vinyl: Making the Music Mean Something Again" saunter up to the stage. Several stars faint as Gypsy blows them kisses, and Johnny Depp shoves Vanessa Paradis aside and tosses his underwear to her. Vanessa in turn tosses Johnny at Neilbymouth, who politely picks him up and sets him on the edge of the stage where he sits and gazes tearily at Gypsy.
"I played a Gypsy once," he whispers and sits back down with his girlfriend.
Gypsy reaches the podium, where George Clooney awaits with her golden statue, and the manic applause reaches it's climax before she raises a regal hand and prepares to make her speech...

Gyps this is a treat! I love the leg-in air thing too. Was he doing his pilates? He has very good control. Alfie does look perpetually peed off - he'd hate to hear it I'm sure, but the more supercilious his look, the more he makes me laugh. Not at all the thing, I'm sure.

Val, it is indeed Cilla Black, from the soundtrack of the film of the same name, with Michael Caine. Beyonce Knowles did a creditable version of it in one of the Austin Powers films too, but this is the orig, complete with that toe-curling note in "what's it ALL about?" Gets me every time.

Gypsy - that "come along my pretties" sounds like the Wicked Witch of the West! If it's you, you have a wonderful evil streak.

Sorry, what did you all say there?, I was so wrapped up in Stevie's magnificent reveiw of the Oscars night, which may I say deserves an Oscar all of it's own...Bravo! Stevie!!..that was pure class!..
now back to reality...
yes Grace,no Dale, Val and Margie are spot on, it was indeed the song sung by Cilla Black in 1966 and produced by Burt Bacharach for the theme tune to the original film 'Alfie' played by Michael Caine, A wonderful film by all accounts and the more recent remake with Jude Law although good, is not a patch on the original..
Sinbin I think you should have your own chat show! and Creemore, i'm sure Alfie could find a role for you in one of his 'other films'
Rache, please don't give him anymore ideas, he's already sitting here in his smoking jacket demanding diamond encrusted Kitty-lit!..
Margie, That wasn't Palates, it was Alfie showing off his tackle..and yes that was me in true Wicked Witch of the North mode..hehe..er-evil?-moi?..
Stevie, i'm still reeling from your wonderful reveiw, which of course is all true..mind you Alfie did get an honour on Youtube (whatever that means)
Alas, Neil deleted his blog for now, coblogitate!?! now that sounds rude!..
Hello Grace, yes M'dear fine and dandy fankoo..xx....
